Well, this passed me by, or I ignored it, no longer excited by Nas albums. I noticed on almost every best of list this year. Every review said the same thing, can we stop holding everything Nas has done up to Illmatic and accept that the man can make some damn fine albums. I've heard this once and it seems very good. I've posted this tune, it's far from the best, but lyrically astounding and shows a Nas that, I think, is as comfortable with his persona as he has been since his early days, rapping eloquently and seemingly effortlessly about his own truth. Some good beats on this album too.
