Hey JR, that Curtis CD is good had that for a while. I prefer The Other Side of Town though... as we seem to be going way back you may like these two I play them at least once a month.
That gangsta lean song is amazing. I've never heard it before, though I've heard the lyrics quoted loads in hip hop. I've known about Roy for, well practically my whole life. Uncle Roy is probabley the most musically gifted of the Ayers camp. He used to sit me on his knee and sing that one to me o n many a llangwm summer.
I love songs that have that high pitched sound (it's usually strings I think) but yeah I love that constant sound throughout a song. It's used to great effect here;
