DOOMSTARKS (really lame name) - Victory Laps

Hey, really enjoying the beat battle, though  I am thoughrily confused by which beats are from where;  like, you both made beats from the same records, but which are the comparable beats? Also could we hear the original tunes. I really liked stolen sweets.
Ak no problem on the site for me today, however, the mixcloud bits aren't working right now.
Also thanks to my awesome gambling and depending on Arsenals result tonight I may be able to afford to come up to big smoke for the Ghost and Doom show, Decided I can't miss it, it's 2 of my top 5 mc's and I'm hoping a bit of professional competition will bring out the best in each other, and Ghost does Alex's stolen script. So, whose with me? it's nov 5 here

my tracks

Cheers for those mixes James; will get them on the mp3 for the gym tomorrow, after cutting out the talking bollocks.

Here's the first of the two tracks I did for this battle, made of the charity shop 45s. They weren't all crappy! The Ennio one was good..

Take Two by ThaNuts

This track was made from the same records as Beta Blocka

Rush by ThaNuts

This track was made from the same records as Hard Work

I don't have the other with me here in Purley; wwill edit this post and put it in when I'm back in Dulwich.

Also, something on this site is totally fucking with my browser. Is anyone else having problems with stalling/not loading/crashing plugins? I'm guessing it's either the vimeo vid or mixcloud because it's only started happening recently, but is it just for me?

Maya Jane coles essential mix

Hey Ak here's that Maya Jane coles mix good for the gym. Although it does starts with a little interview with her and she sounds like a 15 year old... also the 'essential mix' gets pumped through parts of the mix which makes me think Westwood may have got hold of the booth at the BBC station

Also here's a Soul Clap mix

ShiLoh vs. Akhil - Beat Battle part 2

Hello again,

So here's part 2 of the beat battle - this time I've posted a link to a track I've made from the samples I've scavenged from three rubbish 45's Akhil bought from a charity shop.

Ak also made a song too - where they at, man? - let us know which ones you prefer.

Thanks again for listening!

Beat Battle with Akhil

Sup people!

I challenged Akhil to make a song out of the tracks within 3 dusty old LPs. Before giving the records over, I made my own beat from them - peep it and let me know what you think!

Thanks for listening!

New song

Hi Guys,

I made a few tunes for a beat battle with Akhil, but I can only enter 2 tracks. This is a link to the that didn't make the cut - let me know what you think.

The other two tracks will be uploaded after the unveiling.

Peace

Rasco

A little while back I got the most recent "Rasco Presents" album, "The Minority Report", in the same vein and with a lot of the same faces on it as 20,000 Leagues Under the Streets. There's some real bangers on there; good album overall. This track is one of my favourite beats on the album.
